I am researching the family of Sarah Bunting then of Deansgate Manchester who married Henry Bould 1818, William Moseley 1823 and Joseph Mottershead 1827, she died in Macclesfield in 1839.

Both were born in County Armargh I believe. John and Elizabeth settled in Maxwelltown, a region of Wanganui on New Zealand's North Island. They had 5 children at the time the set off for NZ in 1863: Maria (1850-1930), Edward John (1853-1930), Margaret (1853-1940), Letitia (1858-1919), Thomas (1861-1931). I had two great aunts (Floss & Ada) and an uncle (Dennis) who lived together in Northampton, all Buntings (all now deceased). I believe they had relatives somewhere in Derbyshire. My grandmother was Elizabeth Bunting born 1908 she had a sister, Harriet born 1910/11 they were the daughters of John and Mary Ann (nee Moran). John was born 1882 and was killed in action in France in 1916. He had a sister by the name of Sarah-Jane, I know that their father was Henry Bunting but don't have a year of birth, he had a sister called Sarah-Ann. Served at TrafalgarHas anybody researched into Marine Private William Bunting who is listed in the National Archives as having served onboard HMS Royal Sovereign at Trafalgar.

My grandmother was Alice Maud Bunting born 24/10/1895 in Ripley Derbyshire and she lived to the ripe old age of 100, dying 21/12/1995 in Doncaster S Yorkshire.
