Quainton Buntings On The Move.

The issue of the Buckinghamshire Ancestor Family History Journal for December 1994 had an item that was collected by Roy Hurst from a newspaper, The Windsor and Eton Express, UK, dated 3rd April 1830. It reported that Mr Bunting of Quainton, plus his family, was emigrating to the USA.

To verify this statement and to see if the Newspaper had more information would need a trip to the British Newspaper Library at Colindale, London. The Library is almost opposite the Colindale underground station on the Northern Line.

Author and bookseller, Eve McLaughlin, still had one copy of this family history booklet left, at 1.50, on 29/01/06. She also has a type written list of other, Buckinghamshire, Bunting references but I did not have time to explore them.
