Quainton Publications

I'm looking for the following publications:

Quainton Lipscomb's Village by John Harris

Quainton Then & Now by Gordon Rodwell - 2000

Quainton History of Some Old Houses and Their Inhabitants by GGH Rodwell - March 2005

Holy Cross & St. Mary Quainton

A History of Quainton 2nd Edition by Laurie Cooper - 1998

If anyone can help me it would be most appreciated.

Also, if you know of any other Quainton publications, please let me know.

Thank You,

Denise

It might be worth contacting Gordon Rodwell. See previous article on this site.

Dear Denise,

Re one of the books you mentioned, the Webmaster referred you to a previous article I wrote, but currently John Spargo, Secretary of the Quainton Village Society, might well be able to help you more promptly but of course there will always be the charge for postage and any appropriate currency conversion.

A list of their Quainton publications is on their web site http://www.quainton.net

At the LHS of the Quainton home page open "Village" and then "Publications". John Spargo's telephone number is given as +44(0)1296 658488. To purchase a book his e-mail address is at the foot of the page. I understand that payment may be made using the PayPal system.

Michael.

My name is Martin Jacobs and I am the current chairman of Quainton Village Society. I have had your communication forwarded to me but am a little puzzled by the dates given for the enquiries being 2007 and 2008.

The Society still holds and distributes the publications shown on http://www.quainton.net/ as described by Michael Bunting and I would be happy to assist if this is still a requirement.

My email address is martinjacobs@hotmail.com

Kind regards - Martin Jacobs
