I can help you with John Henry Bunting. He was my great grandfather, and he ran a domestic machinery manufacturing and gutter percha merchant business in Cherry Tree Yard Shalesmoor. He came to Sheffield from London where his father worked it Custom House. John Henry took residence in the St Georges parish and I surmise that by attending the parish chruch he met the Sellars family and married one of Maria Sellars daughters. The wedding took place at St Georges church. His son, William Godfrey Bunting worked for John Henry as a young man and met his wife when he used to escort her through the yard with her tray of blanl knives for finishing by one of the little mesters who worked in the yard. Grandmother was afraid of horses and so William woul;d escort her. Hope that helps. If you want more info email me on jcoldwell@Hotmail.com
