Buntingfield House resited
Authored by: Keith Wynne on 08:09PM UTC - Monday, 02 September 2013

i am lucky enough to see the Buntingfied house every day as it is in my village of Hasland, 1 mile from Chesterfield. John Bunting had it taken down, stone by stone and rebuilt it here in 1819. It is an impressive looking building and is now used as offices, Since 1819 it has been known as Penmore House. My 3xGGF was Henry Bunting born at Ford House,Stretton, only 3 miles or so from Buntingfield.
