Buntings in New Zealand
Authored by: Michael Bunting FSG on 03:56PM UTC - Saturday, 05 August 2006

Hello Ron,

It would be helpful in looking for a Jabez Bunting, a fairly popular christian name, who might possibly have emigrated from the UK by trying to pin down the date of the building built by Jabez and where your great uncle lived and died. Was the latter born there or did he acquire, rent or for some reason move in at a later date? What do New Zealand census records show? Does the current tennant or his solicitor have the deeds which might show something? Was your Grandfather born there?

The person who holds the Society Records is Mary Rix and she can be contacted via her e-mail address under the "blue" heading above "About Us".    Michael.
