    A PhD thesis by Wendy Raybould submitted in January 2005 at University of Leicester entitled 'Open for business: textile manufcture in Northamptonshire, c.1685-1800'. The thesis looks at the textile industry at the village level in Northants and includes information on the processes in the woollen/worsted industry and distribution of the different processes by village, together with Militia Lists, Marriage Licence Bonds. Probate Records and Fire insurance policies. Buntings are mentioned many times in these lists.
